Payment Policy

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for contributions:

  • Cash: Direct cash payments to authorized collectors
  • UPI: Unified Payments Interface (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
  • Bank Transfer: Direct bank transfers (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS)
  • Cheque: Cheques payable to the organization
  • Demand Draft: DDs in favor of the organization
  • Online Payment Gateways: Credit/Debit cards through secure gateways

2. Payment Security

We take payment security seriously:

  • All online transactions are encrypted using SSL/TLS
  • We do not store credit card numbers or CVV codes
  • Payment gateways are PCI DSS compliant
  • OTP verification is required for all contributions

3. Payment Processing

Payment processing times vary by method:

  • Cash: Immediate
  • UPI: Instant to 24 hours
  • Bank Transfer: 1-3 business days
  • Cheque: 3-7 business days (subject to clearance)
  • Online Payments: Instant to 24 hours

4. Payment Confirmation

Upon successful payment verification:

  • You will receive a confirmation email/SMS
  • A receipt number will be generated
  • Your contribution will be recorded in the registry
  • You can download a PDF receipt

5. Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • You will be notified immediately
  • No amount will be deducted from your account
  • You can retry the payment
  • Contact us if the issue persists

6. Payment Disputes

If you have a payment dispute:

  • Contact us within 7 days of the transaction
  • Provide transaction details and proof of payment
  • We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
  • Disputes will be resolved fairly and transparently

7. Currency

All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

8. Payment Gateway Fees

For online payments, payment gateway fees may apply. These fees are typically absorbed by us, but in some cases may be passed on to the contributor.

9. PCI Compliance

Important: We do not store any credit card information on our servers. All card payments are processed through PCI DSS compliant payment gateways.
